Business Adventures
I completed reading a collection of essays on the following topics:
- Market sentiments causing volatile flashes
- Product development
- Income Tax justification and minimization
- Insider Trading
- Tech startup experiencing hyper-growth
- Market regulators and their ever evolving role
- Corporate communications (ab)used in a legal setting
- A short squeeze (like with
$GME
) - Duality of the entrepreneur balancing profit seeking with social impact
- Activist shareholders
- Intellectual Property and Non-competes
- Central Bankers reacting to a currency crisis
Now, what if I told you this book was published in 1969. The author masterfully makes it a spectacularly entertaining read while offering up deep insights that, as I can confirm, have stood the test of time
I loved the chapter on the Sterling crisis of 1964, especially seeing how relevant it is for the modern world with the introduction of Bitcoin. Highly recommended!
